Summary :

Facing a determined Chilean team, supported at home by its fans, the The Grenadières delivered a remarkable performance, winning [1-0] thanks to a penalty converted by Melchie Daelle Dumornay, aka "Corventina," in the 17th minute [1-0].

Dominant in the first half, notably thanks to lightning-fast comebacks from Melchie and Amandine Pierre-Louis twice (35' and 40'), our Grenadières were forced to play with a man down after defender Kethna Louis was sent off in the 40th minute.

In the second half, the Grenadières brilliantly resisted the Chilean onslaught, even creating a few opportunities on the counterattack. A solid collective performance, highlighted by the poise of goalkeeper Kaina V. César Pietrus, who is increasingly imposing in the Haitian goal. Decisive tonight, she was able to reassure her defense and maintain the lead with composure.

The strong Haitian community in Chile was quick to express its support and proudly celebrate the players' performance.
